The 10th Anniversary International Forum of the Exhibition Industry 5pEXPO 2018

For ten years the 5pEXPO forum has been Russia's main professional networking platform for local and foreign specialists in the trade show, convention and event industries. The key aim of the Forum is to create favourable conditions for networking of trade show organizers, designers, contractors, suppliers of equipment and materials as well as companies from all sectors of economy who actively participate in trade shows and conventions.

According to the Russian National Exhibition Rating, 5pEXPO was chosen Russia's Best Exhibition in 2016-2017 in the Exhibition Industry category.

Forum Highlights:

1. The 7th Russian Conference on Trade Fairs "Trade Fairs and Congresses: Digital Economy Networking" (June, 6). The participants are heads of CEOs of trade show companies, government officials, representatives of chambers of commerce and industry, industry associations and professional communities. They will discuss the use of mechanisms of the trade show and convention industries for development of digital economy to increase competitiveness of Russian-made products and services as well as the issues on cooperation of federal and regional authorities and trade show community.

The Forum features three conference platforms: PRACTICE, OPINION and 5pEXPO.

The PRACTICE platform features the conference on NewExpoTech: New Technologies in the Trade Show Industry. Leading industry experts will discuss a wide range of issues and put forward specific suggestions for further development of trade fairs and congresses in Russia and worldwide, enhanced effective interaction and strategic relationships between organizers of trade shows and users of exhibition services. The conference participants will exchange their experience and new creative ideas.

The OPINION Platform invites the Forum visitors and participants to discuss the most relevant topics of the market:  visitor research will be conducted by the Exponet portal; the Russian Convention Bureau and Event LIVE portal will hold the conference on Event Gene in the DNA Territory; EGO Translating will raise issues on participation in international trade shows.

The participants in the 5pEXPO Platform can see new products and take part in brainstorming with ExpoForum International and learn about new project EventBank.

 5pEXPO Highlights

The 5pEXPO is divided into salons.

• expoPRODUCT, a trade show of the latest technologies and equipment, design and services. The participants will demonstrate visitors a whole range of services for the trade show business and event industry.
  Participating companies: Messe Duesseldorf Moscow, SYBA Messebau GmbH (Germany), Turkel Fair Org (Turkey), ExpoGlobal Group, Euroexpo, Negus Expo International, Expolink,  BESTLY (a leading supplier of materials for construction of stands and outdoor advertising)
  Newcomers: Lingtong Exhibition System Co., (China), a well-known manufacturer of materials and accessories for exhibition stands; Air Holograms, a company that provides services for sale, rent, maintenance and installation of Hypervsn™ displays with holographic effect by Kimo-Mo and services for making 3D animated video. Russcom IT Group will present EventBank, second-to-none software that will be interesting for organizers of different events, advertising and marketing agencies, industry associations, and chambers of commerce and industry.
• The Exhibitions and Congresses. Exhibition and Event Services Salon consists of the companies involved in organization of trade shows, fairs, corporate, and other events. They showcase interactive technologies, lighting, audio and video equipment, advertising and marketing services.
• The participants in the Expostand Salon will be companies engaged in design and construction of exhibition stands, portable stands, prefabricated pavilions, which present exhibition and special-purpose equipment, materials, floor coatings, etc.

Exhibition operators and contractors traditionally organize the group stand. This year they will make a presentation of Yekaterinburg as a candidate city of Russia to hold EXPO 2025. The Bid Committee will tell about it within the exhibition.
